You've put in the kilometres. Your legs know the road, the pace, the distance. But running fitness and running strength aren't the same thing, and it's usually strength that decides whether you make it to the finish line feeling strong, or just make it there.
The Runner Strength + Recovery Programme pairs 20-minute EMS training sessions on XBody dry-electrode technology with a training map built specifically for runners, covering strength, stability, control and recovery across the 12 weeks before your race. Each session activates up to 90% of your muscles at once, the equivalent of 90 minutes of conventional training, so it fits around your run training instead of competing with it.
The programme moves through four phases:
Choose 1 or 2 sessions a week depending on how much support you want. Your first session is a one-on-one intro to map out goals and injury history, then the regular cadence begins for the rest of your 12 weeks.
You don't have to be fast to benefit from strength training. You just have to be running.
